“I wish I was Kyle tonight.”
I laughed. “Kyle?” He turned around when he heard his name and beamed at me. Sister xxx On the way back to campus, he held my hand in his as he drove and we talked about completely random, unimportant things. She nodded and grabbed her things as we headed out the door. His hand brushed against mine and I held my breath as he took it and laced his fingers with mine. “Played?”
“Yeah, like go down the slide, swing, play tag, spin around in circles until we fall.”
This time, he did laugh. It would be fine. I wrapped my arms around his back, pulling him down even though I knew he wouldn’t put more weight on me. He walked me all the way back to my dorm-room and kissed me, softly again.
